3 Tempting Easter Brunches in Albuquerque

If you’re like some people I know, you overindulge on chocolate eggs and jelly beans on Easter morning and then find yourself looking forward to eating some real food later in the day. Why cook on Easter when so many restaurants in Albuquerque offer such a nice array of Easter Brunches? The following three restaurants will provide a variety of settings and menus for Easter Brunch on Sunday, April 8, 2012.

Brasserie La Provence

Enjoy Easter Brunch in a friendly little French bistro in Albuquerque’s Nob Hill District. The chef at Brasserie La Provence will serve Easter patrons smoked salmon, crab cakes, poached shrimp, fresh oysters, whole roasted leg of lamb, a variety of desserts and more. Pueblo Harvest Café and Bakery in the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center

Easter Brunch guests will experience warm Pueblo hospitality at the Pueblo Harvest Café and Bakery in Albuquerque. The café will be serving a selection of salads, breakfast items, roast loin of pork and carved roast beef. Additional dishes will include grilled spring vegetables, chicken breast Francaise, and vegetarian eggplant lasagna.

Special stations will be set up for the creation of made-to-order omelets, eggs, and blintzes for Easter Brunch guests. Forque Kitchen and Bar at the Hyatt Regency Downtown

The Easter Brunch served in the upscale contemporary Forque Kitchen and Bar at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Albuquerque will feature carving stations for orange maple glazed ham, leg of lamb, and smoked beef tri-tip.

Additional entrees to be offered will include salmon and chicken breast. Omelets made to order and Belgian waffles will be served for those looking for breakfast items. A wide selection of special desserts will be presented, including cakes and pies, mini pastries, mousses, and croustades.

Put on your Easter finery – the dress code at the Forque Kitchen and Bar in downtown Albuquerque is elegant casual. $43.95 for adults, $29.95 for seniors, $18.50 for children 6 and up, free for children five and under.
